Hi Genny,

Your site is gorgeous. I just had to see what you're up to, as I was so missing your store and all the opportunities to find really unusual, beautiful things there. Gabe and I moved to San Diego, for his work and because there are five granddaughters here. It turns out there are no boutique shops of any kind, let alone ones with Japanese antiques and fabrics. Even finding material to recover couch pillows is proving impossible. Do you happen to have any obis? I still have the gorgeous ones you sold me, but living in a beige world here, I would love to have another. Also, we're looking to buy a house IF we can find something unique -- a tall order, believe me. Anyway, I hope you're doing well. All the best, Susan (805-708-6752)

@Susan Stewart Potter: Susan! Not sure how I missed this message, but I don't monitor my website messages as often as I should.
San Diego, huh? And No Boutique stores? Maybe I should scout it out.

We just moved our showroom one door next door - and it's been a very refreshing experience. Come by if you ever get back to SB.

No, I haven't carried obi's in years. We hardly carry Asian antiques these days, just a few pieces mixed in with the rest. The market sort of died about 10 years ago.
Good to hear from you.
